Commentary on issues concerning Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the nation. (and sometimes wine & restaurant recommendations)
Wisconsin has created over 30,000 new private sector jobs since Scott Walker became governor. This is good news for middle-class and working class families across the entire state.
Anonymous,Unfortunately your good news is a lie. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the agency responsible for producing job creation and loss numbers, Wisconsin has lost almost 24,000 jobs this year, the worst record in the nation. Scott Walker knew his job destruction record was toxic so he made up his own numbers.
Unfortunately, you've been blinded by your hate of Walker. The facts are that Wisconsin has added over 30,00 new jobs since Walker was elected. I've attached a link for you to read and help clear things up for you. Good day http://www.weau.com/home/headlines/Economists_say_new_jobs_numbers_more_accurate_151722435.html
The numbers are an absolute disgrace. 23,000 jobs is nothing to brag about; the more irritating fact is that there was growth in public jobs. When we should be cutting costs in our government, we are hiring? I thought Scott Walker would bring his business experience to office; anybody who has managed a business (with your OWN money, not the governments) understands that when revenue is down, cuts MUST be made to the compensation line.
